Criminal Investigation

The Criminal Investigation division of the Madison County Sheriff's Department is dedicated to efficiently investigating crimes in Madison County. Our main goal is to protect Madison County citizens and to preserve the community that we call home.

Investigators are responsible for conducting follow-up interviews on reported crimes, gathering evidence and presenting cases to a grand jury.

The division consists of seven investigators, including one assigned solely to juvenile cases. Each member of the division is a veteran of the department with a vast knowledge of the community as well as its citizens. Criminal investigators work closely with other investigative units throughout Madison County to ensure public safety and integrity.
